Founded in 2009, Hush Gallery is an independent contemporary art space based in Yeldeğirmeni, Kadıköy. Since its inception, the gallery has operated outside centralized art-market structures, supporting local artistic production while sustaining long-term international exchange. Hush Gallery operates as a flexible platform for exhibition, encounter, and discourse, shaped by collaboration, continuity, and critical engagement rather than fixed formats or modes of presentation.

Hush Gallery prioritizes process-oriented artistic practices and experimental approaches across multiple media, including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, drawing, new media, and conceptual work. The program brings together artists from Turkey and abroad, fostering production-based exhibitions that emphasize research, site-specificity, and sustained engagement rather than short-term visibility.The gallery is committed to the idea of accessible art, understood as intellectual openness, shared knowledge, and proximity to lived experience.
